SESSIONS COLLEGE NAMES MANAGING EDITOR FOR ITS ONLINE MAGAZINE, NOTES ON DESIGN
(Tempe AZ - February 22, 2016)Sessions College for Professional Design has named Margaret Penney as Managing Editor of Notes on Design.
Notes on Design (NoD) is a Sessions College developed and curated online design magazine focusing on all aspects of the design industry. Launched in 2006, its mission is to serve designers at any stage in their career—whether they are design students, freelancers, or industry veterans.
Margaret Penney, the newly named Managing Editor of NoD, is also the Department Head of Multimedia Arts at Sessions College. She is a unique combination of teacher, designer, writer and media artist. As a new media artist, she has exhibited at the Institute of Contemporary Arts in London; the Museo Tamayo in Mexico City; Morean Art Center in St. Petersburg, FL and around NYC. Her design and artwork have been published in XLR8R, Dazed Digital, Fact magazine, and Yahoo, among others and included in the book "Eye Candy from the Underground: Fresh Styles for Web Designers." Margaret has a B.A. from Johns Hopkins University and M.F.A. from Columbia University.

NoD is developed by people who share a passion for good design. Its panel of guest authors includes professional designers, writers, educators, and business owners, each of whom write to inspire creativity, improve the quality of a designer's work, and promote engaged thinking about design.
