Sessions College Health and Wellness Advisory

Information on COVID-19

March 31, 2020

Dear Students, Faculty, and other Stakeholders,

It’s clear that the spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) and the evolving attempts of governments to mitigate and combat the virus mean challenging times for us all.

As our federal government, state authorities, and countries across the world, develop strategies to counter the threat, we want to affirm that as a fully online college we will continue to deliver excellent programs to our students, safely and remotely, so that our creative community can continue to reach its goals, to continue to prepare us for the beautiful future beyond this crisis.

At the same time, we urge everyone to consult national, state, and local information for guidance on how to be safe and healthy.

For current students, our Student Services team will continue to provide the support and assistance needed to students as we move forward through – and beyond – the Corona crisis.  For prospective students, our Admissions team continue to be available to help you through any stage of your application through program admission. Classes will continue as scheduled and all Sessions departments will continue to be available during regular business hours via phone, email, or chat as appropriate.

As an institution we encourage all students, staff, and faculty to stay safe, get informed about COVID-19, and find out what actions are being advised or restricted by local state or city government authorities.

Sincerely,

Gordon Drummond
President
Sessions College

March 16, 2020

As our government and our institutions take measures to prevent the Coronavirus or COVID-19, we want to assure all students and other stakeholders that we do not anticipate any disruption to our programs as we approach our April 2020 term.

As an online school founded in New York City in 1997, Sessions College has maintained its operations through some of the worst crises of the last 20 years, ranging from the 9/11 terrorist attacks to Hurricanes Sandy and Maria, to the wildfire events of recent years.

We are able to persist through adversity because we are an online school committed to enabling students pursue their dreams anytime, anywhere.

And so, like most organizations, Sessions College is taking steps to safeguard the individuals in our online community and to ensure that essential school services for students and faculty will continue without disruption.

Please do not hesitate to contact our Admissions team at admissions@sessions.edu or reach out to other school departments if you have a question about your program. We wish you all continued health and safety as the nation weathers this storm.

Sincerely,

Gordon Drummond
President
Sessions College
