Vocational Program Admissions
Workforce Investment Act
The Federal Workforce Investment Act (WIA) provides federal job training funds for adults, dislocated workers, and youth. Depending on your state, Workforce Investment Act funds may be available through state employment services, adult education and literacy programs, welfare-to-work, vocational education, and vocational rehabilitation programs.
With a main campus located in Tempe, Arizona, Sessions College is registered with the Maricopa County LWIB. This makes WIA funding for Sessions College professional certificate programs available for eligible Arizona residents through the Arizona HEAT system. To determine your eligibility, please visit the Arizona HEAT Web site.
If you live outside Arizona, Workforce Investment Act funding may be available through a relationship between Sessions College and its education partner Cengage. For a list of state workforce program Web sites, visit the United States Department of Labor site.
