Sessions Among Top College Affordability Rankings
You may be wondering: What is the College Affordability and Transparency Center? Established in 2011, the Federal website was intended to make consumers more aware of affordability issues in Higher Education. By highlighting the most and least affordable colleges in the country, officials hoped to keep consumers informed and increase pressure on schools to address escalating college costs and student debt.
Ten years later, the student debt crisis remains a hot topic, with politicians of all stripes engaged in debates on how to solve the issue. According to Student Loan Hero, 69% of college students who graduated in 2019 took out student loans, graduating with an average debt of $29,800.
At Sessions College we believe in affordability, which is why in this year’s this year’s report, based on 2019 data, Sessions College was once again listed as among the top 10 Title IV colleges in the United States for lowest tuition in our category (for-profit, 2-year college).
Our goal is to provide education that is high quality, flexible, project-based online education for creative learners that is affordable. This means that a student who is eligible for financial aid at Sessions College should be able to complete a program at Sessions without incurring a mountain of loan debt.
We encourage all students and prospective students to get more informed using these and other college costs resources available on the web.
