Free Font Friday: Cassius
by Margaret Penney | July 1, 2016
Cassius, designed by Lindsay Charles, is a display font with a distinct look that is both classic and forward-thinking. The design is grid-based and geometric yet also resembles a Blackletter. The corners on the letters appear folded and creased giving the design the illusion of having some dimensionality, some 3D. Lindsay made this design for New Spring Creative, a church in South Carolina, and is offering the font for free for both commercial and personal use. The font comes with capitals plus alternates, like these two interesting versions of the uppercase E.
