Free Font Friday: Caviar Dreams
by Taylor Slattery | April 19, 2020
Naturally, the two work nicely together as header and body copy pairing but their differences can be further exaggerated by experimenting with scale. Take the bold type up to a larger size while keeping the regular small or vice versa to bring more attention to the difference in their stroke weights.
Caviar Dreams has some aspects reminiscent of other geometric sans serif typefaces. Particularly the combination of its circular letterforms and angled e bring ITC Avant Garde to mind. Like other geometric sans serif typefaces, Caviar Dreams can be used alone for a simple, elegant solution, or paired with something else to give the design more character. It plays nice with just about anything you can think to put next to it.
Caviar Dreams is at home on signage, posters, packaging, you name it. If you’re the type of designer who prefers to focus your efforts in areas other than typography, this is a typeface you’ll definitely want to add to your collection. Its regular and bold weights are available for free here.
