Free Font Friday: Ernst Haeckel
by Margaret Penney | January 20, 2017
The Ernst Haeckel font by the Aleph Corporation pays homage to the famous German biologist, naturalist, philosopher, physician, professor and artist. Haeckel discovered and named thousands of new species and created exquisitely detailed illustrations of his findings. Aleph Corporation has made a font inspired by his designs that is absolutely beautiful and a work of art in its own right.
A collage style font, the design is colorful and ornate, teeming with life with an organic and naturalistic look. The font design would be wonderful in posters and invitations or as a home decor element—as a framed art print or on custom-made pillows.
