Sessions College Graduation Rates Exceed National Averages

Annually released student outcomes data show that online visual arts school Sessions College for Professional Design (sessions.edu) continues to stay ahead of the pack with graduation rates and other metrics that meet or exceed the national averages.

According to the NCES, the national average graduation rates for 2-year colleges across all sectors is 29%. Two year colleges, which include a broad mix of community colleges, state schools, and career schools, generally provide associate degree and certificate programs to a population of first-time degree seekers and adult learners seeking career education.

With a 2016 graduation rate of 52%, the Sessions College Associate of Occupational Studies program is 20 points higher than the national average graduation rate, which includes classroom and online programs. In addition, Sessions Associate Degree graduates reported a high rate of employment success. Through third party employment verification, 86% of Sessions College Associate Degree graduates reported being employed after graduation, with over 73% of them employed in a creative field.
