SESSIONS COLLEGE GRAPHIC DESIGN DEGREE HONORED BY USDLA
(Tempe AZ - May 10, 2016)Sessions College was honored to receive a USDLA (United States Distance Learning Association) Silver award for Best Practices in Distance Learning Programming. The awards were announced at the 2016 USDLA National Conference in St. Louis, Missouri.
School President Gordon Drummond attended the ceremony to receive the Best Practices award for the Sessions College Associate of Occupational Studies in Graphic Designprogram. This is the fourth USDLA award for excellence and the second specifically for the Sessions College graphic design programs.
The Associate Degree in Graphic Design is a 2-year program that provides a thorough creative and technical training in graphic design techniques and software, giving students the skills, experiences, and portfolio of work to succeed as creative professionals.
The annual USDLA awards recognize achievement in distance learning by identifying programs that are exemplary - offering outstanding interactivity, online design, technology, and assessment.

Flores, Executive Director of USDLA and Program Professor at Nova Southeastern University." Launched in 2010, the Associate Degree in Graphic Design program has become one of the most effective, affordable art/design programs available online. With a Design Business course, Capstone Project, and Portfolio Review. the program has a specific focus on career preparation. Sessions College is also the sole developer of the program's learning materials. This is in line with its mission to be ahead of the trend for portable digital education materials with no dependency on external sources for content, technology, learning tools and processes.
