Student Ambassadors
2019 Student Ambassadors
The Student Ambassadors are a group of volunteer students who embody the Sessions College experience. They represent the Sessions College experience to interested parties such as prospective students and educational organizations and provide school staff input on educational strategy and planning.
Student Ambassadors achieve these goals by working closely with Education and Student Services teams. Since 2010, this group has been an important part of the growth and development of Sessions College.

Rachel Herring
Associate Degree in Graphic Design
Rachel is a mom of three boys and a business owner. After being a stay at home mom for a few years, she decided it was time to seriously pursue her passion for graphic design. Sessions was a good choice for her because it’s allowed her to study and grow her businesses while still being home with her young children. Since starting school, she has built her own freelance business and from there, opened up an online store. Her design and marketing skills that she’s learned at Sessions have also helped grow her main business. She is looking forward to furthering her online education, and using her knowledge to continue to make a better life for her and her boys.

Julianne Anderson
Associate Degree in Graphic Design
Julianne Anderson is a wife and stay-at-home mom to 5 children. She attended some college before having kids, but never could decide on a major, so she ended up leaving school. About 5 years ago she discovered a desire to study graphic design and attended her former college part-time. However, her stay-at-home mom schedule didn’t work well with the traditional college schedule. She discovered Sessions College from following Dawn Nicole Designs on social media, and now Julianne can pursue her dream to become a graphic designer while also fulfilling her calling as mother.
Ashley Rich
Marketing Design Advanced Certificate
Hi I’m Ashley Rich! I have always been interested in art and design. Right out of high school I pursued a bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, but some major life changes altered my course. I have some experience in online schooling, as I later received my Associates in Healthcare Administration, so I knew that was going to be the right route for me, if, and when I decided to go back to school. I started a job that offered me the opportunity to pursue my passion for design, so I decided to take the leap. I’m currently pursuing an Advanced Certificate in Marketing Design. I hope to use the skills I learn through Sessions to help expand my creative reach, designing various marketing materials, flyers, banners, and communicating our companies purpose better.
Katie Nelson

Katie is not yet working in her field of choice but spends a lot of time outside of her day-job running her Etsy Shop and doing live wedding painting. She hopes to build a career in logo design, branding, and package design.
